Ta Huy Long is recognisable through the series of Illustrated Vietnamese Historical Stories. He has been awarded the first prize in the Creation Campaign (organised by Kim Dong Publishing House) and first prize for Yet Kieu - Da Tuong from Fine Arts Association in a local competition.
