Since
our establishment on 17 June 1957, Kim Dong Publishing House has
always been the largest publisher for Vietnamese children and
one of the forerunners in Vietnam publication industry. With more
than 1000 titles of books published yearly, our books offerred
to children from toddlers to teenagers a wide ranges of collections
and gernes from literature, science, art, history to comics, pop-up
and board books.
Besides
the targeted readers, parents and teachers also find our books
qualified and essential for their children to build up knowledge
as well as entertaining.
Being acclaimed as having good contents and beautiful illustrations,
our books have been loved by many generations of Vietnamese readers.
Amongst those, many classic works such as Diary of a Cricket (To Hoai), Green Lotus Bud (Son Tung), the Twinkle of Star Khue (Nguyn
Duc Hien), The sky and the yard (Tran Ðang Khoa), Kaleidoscope
(Nguyen Nhat Anh) have been passed on from generations to generations…
Our collections of more than 100 titles of illustrated Vietnamese
Traditional Folktales and Vietnamese Historical Stories are the
contribution of many recognised Vietnamese illustrators and artist
and these collections have been one of the most beloved collections
in Vietnam for many decades.
Besides
working with local authors and artists, we have been expanding
our co-operation with more than 70 foreign publishers to find
new topics and book types. Amongst those publishers, we have been
working closely with Dorling Kindersley, HarperCollins UK, Simon
and Schuster UK, Dami International, Shogakukan Inc., Seoul Publishing
House…
